How to access Gmail offline
When offline you can still read your emails & compose replies by following these steps;
First things first, make it easier to get to Gmail when you're offline by bookmarking the page and making sure you are using Google Chrome ✅
Go to Gmail mail.google.com and click the settings wheel in the top right to access the quick settings and box - then click 'See all settings'
3. Select the 'Offline' tab, tick 'Enable offline mail', and pay attention to the extra options such as storing emails from the last 7, 30 or 90 days and most importantly around security - then don't forget to save the changes at the bottom.
*Remember to do this on each device you will be using to access Gmail offline*
How to access Google Calendar offline
View future events or from the last 4 weeks offline when you enable Google Calendar offline. This works in a very similar way to Gmail.
First things first, make it easier to get to Google Calendar when you're offline by bookmarking the page. ✅
Go to Google Calendar access the settings wheel in the top right and click 'Settings'.
On the left side menu click 'Offline'
4. Tick 'Turn on offline calendar' and click 'Reload now'
Your calendar will sync and you can click the icon to see the status.
How to access Google Drive offline on the web
First things first (again), make it easier to get to Google Calendar when you're offline by bookmarking the page and making sure you are using Google Chrome (or Edge you need an extension for this) ✅
Go to Google Drive and click the cog in the top right and select 'Settings'
3. Tick the offline box to create, open and edit your recent Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides when offline.
