How to Automate Your Feedback Forms with the Microsoft 365 Copilot Surveys Agent

Instead of going into Microsoft Forms and asking Copilot for help creating your form, you can now start in Copilot and let it build the form from your prompt and put the form into Microsoft Forms for you.


There are many Microsoft 365 Copilot Agents you can choose from in the Copilot Agent Store, and Surveys is one of them.


Step 1 - Open Copilot and select 'Agents' from the left-hand side.

Step 2 - Scroll down the agents to the 'Surveys' agent.

The Surveys agent will open, and you can create your prompt.

Step 3 - Create your prompt and hit Enter. Be as specific as you can, describing what form you would like to create, the kind of information you need to know, etc.

Step 4 - The agent will show you a preview so you can edit it with Copilot before exporting to Microsoft Forms. Once you are happy with the form, you can click 'Open in Forms'.

OR you can tell Copilot you are ready to send the form or 'set up distribution', for Copilot to suggest a plan of how best to distribute the form, communication suggestions and timelines. It can then take control of sending the invites and even following up.

We find this agent so useful, as we have to do a lot of feedback forms and pre-training forms. This saves us hours and could do the same for people in HR roles, Project Managers and those who have to organise events.
